Free entry – like all markets – then either shop for bottles to take away or buy a £12 Tasting Tote and hang out. You can drink-in by both glass and bottle or spend all afternoon sampling as many wines as possible. Each market runs 12 noon – 8pm.
Wine traders signed up for the first market in June include Vinoteca, Berry Brothers & Rudd, The Winemakers Club, New Zealand Cellar, Nekter, Le Grappin and Quality Wines. There’ll be food from Rita’s, oysters from the Drop Wine Bar and pizza from Happy Face. Different wine stalls will be added and rotated throughout the season.
Wine Car Boot are as sustainable as possible and minimise and recycle any single use plastics, as well as gently encouraging their traders to bring low intervention, planet-friendly wines. Almost all of the wine, food or other companies they work with share these philosophies.
