Liverpool-based ceramics studio gathering, testing and analysing materials from a wide range of post-consumer and industrial waste streams including glass, metal and ceramic recycling, steel production, quarry spoils and water filtration. Collectively these sources generate hundreds of thousands of tonnes of waste per year which otherwise goes to landfill.
Through a combination of hands-on experiments and chemical analyses, the workshop have developed a range of beautiful & durable ceramic bodies and glazes from these materials that reproduce the physical properties of conventional glazed stoneware or porcelain and along with being 100% recycled, are 100% food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
