TARTIFLETTE & ALPINE WINE AT THE DROP
The Drop’s Drop-In series returns to Coal Drops Yard on Tuesday. From 6pm the wine bar will host a casual and un-ticketed ‘Tarti Party’ serving traditional Alpine tartiflette, made with potatoes, reblochon cheese, lardon and onions, along with add-your-own cornichons and green salad.
The evening will also feature a carefully selected list of wines from the Alpine regions of France and Switzerland. Guests can try these and more by the glass or bottle.
Now in its second year, the Drop-In evenings each focus on a certain wine region or style, with a special dish served on the night to match. In 2020 the Drop-Ins will be revisiting favourite regions from last year as well as exploring new countries, lesser known producers and the brilliant and varied wine they create.
The main a la carte menu will not be available on event evenings, however there will always be a vegetarian option available.
