Harts Group, led by Sam and James Hart and Crispin Somerville, bring a Michelin-starred taste of Spain to King’s Cross with the biggest branch of Barrafina to date.
The Catalan-influenced menu comes courtesy of talented Executive Chef, Angel Zapata Martin. Try the signature arroz negro with Iberian pork ribs, artichoke and baby cuttlefish, the Pyrenaen lamb chops or the cured monkfish. There is also a specials menu that changes daily.
There are a few tables at the Coal Drops Yard branch, but as with the other Barrafina restaurants, it’s really all about eating (and drinking) at the bar, where you can watch the chefs at work.
See the Barrafina website for more information.
Monday – Saturday, 12pm – 3pm, 5pm – 11pm
Sunday, 1pm – 3.30pm, 5.30pm – 10pm
Alongside Barrafina, Harts Group have also opened Casa & Plaza Pastor, The Drop wine bar. Mark your calendars for Parrillan, the outside terrace bar and table-top grill restaurant which will open this spring.
