HIDEN – JAPANESE CURRY LAB

Hiden – Japanese Curry Lab is an homage to the speciality ‘hole-in-the-wall’ food shops found in cities across Japan. Serving traditional “curry rice” (カレーライス, pronounced karē raisu), Hiden is owned and run by team of Japanese foodies dedicated to bringing the most authentic Japanese version of curry to hungry Londoners.

The menu both reflects the traditional style of the shop – a thoroughly Japanese, minimalist takeaway with just a handful places to sit – and the philosophy of chef Hideaki Yoshiyama: to offer simply the best, to everyone. Only three options are on the board: the chef’s signature Beef Curry, Chicken Curry and its Vegan alternative, with every single batch made from scratch with painstakingly attention to detail and a secret blend of spices.
