DENIM REPAIR AND BORO WORKSHOP WITH INDIGO WORKS
Blackhorse Lane Ateliers are hosting a two-hour denim repair workshop focussing on traditional repair techniques. Whether you’re looking for practical understanding of repair, are interested in the history of boro (the Japanese practice of patching fabrics together) and indigo production or want just want to breathe new life into your favourite worn-out jeans, this course is for you. With a maximum attendee limit of 10, this will be an intimate but relaxed workshop with refreshments and all materials are included.
The workshop will run 7pm-9pm every first Tuesday of the month.

About Indigo Works
Indigo Works was founded by Liza Mackenzie in 2015. She studied Indigo, known as Aizome, under a Master Craftsman whilst living in Japan for four years. She is a textile designer and researcher with a specialism in Japanese craft textiles and sustainable dyes.
