ARTIST IN RESIDENCE ANDY LEEK
To celebrate the reawakening of London, and the reopening of shops, restaurants and cultural businesses, King’s Cross has partnered with renowned street artist Andy Leek to deliver a summer of public art that will bring positivity and fun to the neighbourhood.
Andy will be creating an evolving series of public artworks throughout Kings Cross and Coal Drops Yard, aiming to spread optimism and fun, capturing the public mood as the nation emerges from lockdown. As well as a gigantic 40 metre installation, the artist will be placing works throughout the estate for people to stumble upon, “hopefully creating some serendipitous moments of joy.” Come and discover Andy’s moments of joy for yourself this summer. The residency runs until September.
